Endless sun and sand with Majorca Holidays

Majorca belongs to a group of islands known as the Balearic Islands situated south of Spain. It is the largest island of the group and it is also the most scenic. So much so that it is safe to say that holidays to Majorca are one of best places to go to and are one of the biggest hot spots on the European tourist map. With good reason as this place has a lot to offer for just about anybody who decides to vacation here. This island is teaming with nice white sand beaches (nearly 90 of them), lagoons, palm trees, great villas, and great food for you to wine and dine to your hearts content. One of the greatest attributes of this island is that there is no such a thing as a good time to visit. The climate here is temperate all through the year. The tourist season is from April to September

There are many different things to do for any type of visitor to this place. If you are traveling with your family or going on a honeymoon then staying near a beach side resort is the thing to do. Most of the resorts will have a great view of the sea and you will be able to just lazy around the beaches if want to. If you are the partying type then there are plenty of bars/night clubs to choose from, where you will be able to dance until dawn such as the El Arenal. If eating good food is your thing then there are plenty of great restaurants to choose from. If you are into partying then Magaluf is the place to go. This part of the island is the most famous for its night life.

If you get tired of being around the beach then there are other activities available here. The zoos and museums will keep you busy for a while especially if you are traveling with children. Another popular place is Camp de Mar. This place is popular with golfers. It is truly a small oasis away from the hustle and bustle of the more tourists’s oriented areas. As far as lodging goes there is a wide choice of places to stay, from cheap apartments to luxurious villas.

The capital city of Majorca is Palma and this town is dotted with lots of old architecture ranging from old Gothic and Moorish to modern day buildings. Even though there are various activities available on this island Majorca is still ultimately about the beaches.
